The simplest and most low-cost sawmill produces the following range of products:

wet wood,

packing-case wood,

bar,

timber,

pallets of all kinds, and cable reels.

To open a sawmill, you will need an industrial site. This includes concepts such as: hangar (at least 600 square meters), shed, trestle, warehouse no. 1 for logs and warehouse no. 2 for finished products, yard for loading and unloading works.

You will also need a dedicated power capacity of 400 kW. Staff should not exceed 10-15 people. Minimal investment. Fast return on investment. High demand. The annual turnover of such a business is about 11.2 million rubles. Such a sawmill will reach the break-even point in a year and a half, at best in a year.

Accompanying production

In fact, the cable reels and pallets already mentioned above are the very same accompanying products. They are made from waste and crops. Almost every savvy businessman is able to produce such wood products.
